Hello
Project Manager with 7 years of experience in strategic project planning, capacity building, cross-cultural relationship building and stakeholder communication & influence in government, philanthropic and business projects. Inspired by my upbringing with front-line communities and small businesses.
How did I end up here?? With a dash of intentionality, grit and whole bunch of can do attitude in the midst of always learning here is my story...
My Story
I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by marginalized communities and the transformative impact of government and philanthropic initiatives. These experiences ignited my passion for addressing inequality, fostering diplomacy, and empowering BIPOC communities. With a strong foundation in policy, community engagement, and project management, I have developed the ability to liaise among diverse perspectives, drive high-impact outcomes, and navigate the complexities of both philanthropic, governmental and business spaces.
With a Master's in Policy Studies and a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington, I’ve led DEI events as Chair of the Campus Events Program for 3 years, resulting in winning the Event of the Year Award and increased funding. For King County Public Health and Communities of Opportunity, I led research and engagement projects, notably within Indigenous and Spanish-speaking communities. This passion culminated in co-collaborating on Pueblos Originarios, a coalition dedicated to amplifying South American Indigenous voices and driving transformative community initiatives and developing Project Mindalae as a resource for small bilingual businesses.
Beyond my work in the nonprofit and government sectors, I expand my understanding of business development by joining Enterprise Mobility. There, I gained firsthand experience in driving growth and fostering client relationships in a corporate setting and becoming top performer in the region. Simultaneously, I applied my strategic expertise to my family business, Andean Essence, where I led initiatives to refine operations and develop branding strategies while continuing to work with Pueblos Originarios.
Whether managing cross-functional teams for DEI initiatives or implementing innovative processes for a large matrix organization, I bring a holistic approach to community engagement, project management, philanthropic and governmental programs. My multidisciplinary background allows me to thrive in diverse environments—corporate, governmental, and philanthropic—while continuously driving impactful results.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I’m a connector and lifelong learner. I actively engage with diverse networks in business, government, and philanthropic spaces, staying at the forefront of industry trends. I enjoy absorbing new insights through podcasts, reading, running, and the arts. Let’s connect on LinkedIn—I’m excited to explore opportunities for collaboration and impact.
